About
The East Bay Hungarian Educational Group
The East Bay Hungarian Educational Group is a non-profit organization established in May 2016 that operates a Hungarian School located in Walnut Creek, CA.
Our organization's primary mission is to provide cultural, educational, and language development for children of Hungarian heritage. However, our current programs also include Hungarian classes for adults, as well as an array of extracurricular activities and family programs for the community
Our classes are held on 3 Saturdays a month. Our activities include music circle, folk songs, folk dance, reading and writing, history, and chorus classes. Our age group ranges from 1-12 for kids. We also offer adult classes for beginners and advanced speakers to learn or practice Hungarian.
Our longtime plan includes a full-time school with cultural and social activities for the whole community.
